Artists Confirmed for Orkney Blues Festival 2011

Following on from it's success in 2010, Orkney Blues is back for another packed weekend of local and national artists.
The date of this year's festival (23 - 25 September 2011) was announced late last year, and has attracted hundreds of interested bands from around the globe - with applications now closed.
Artists have now been confirmed with headliner's Chantelle McGregor, Lucy Zirins, Rhythm Zoo, The Paddy Maguire Band and The Binsness Boys taking the stage for the weekend. All venues will of course be supported by the many local talented artists.
Amos Photography will be there to capture high resolution images of the artists, and 1080p High Definition Video for the Orkney Blues website. Keep posted!

Amos Photography will be attending the Orkney Wedding Exhibition at Kirkwall Town Hall on the 25th September 2011.
The event is being organised by Confetti Dreams to help local couples view the options available to them while planning their special day.
We are looking forward to showcasing our work and helping couple feel at ease about their big day. Feel free to come along and have a look at our equipment, examples of previous work and our current packaging.

RNLI/NorthLink Charity Cruise

Amos Photography gained exclusive access to take images of the RNLI open day event, and in particular, the NorthLink Ferries' sponsored cruise around the island of Bressay, home to the stunning Noss Cliffs.
We particularly enjoyed travelling to Shetland for the occasion with NorthLink Ferries on-board their latest addition to the fleet, freight vessel MV Helliar - and returning via Aberdeen on MV Hrossey.
From the open day event, to the 'Man Overboard' exercise with RNLI Lerwick's Lifeboat - we were able to shoot from normally restricted areas onboard MV Hrossey, giving an exceptional opportunity to capture the images from the best location.
Our thanks to the staff at NorthLink Ferries and crew of MV Hrossey who allowed this to happen. Over £10,000 was raised as part of the open day for RNLI.
